2/16/2015 breitbart.com: HARF: 'WE CAN'T KILL OUR WAY' OUT OF WAR AGAINST ISIS State

Department Deputy Spokesperson Marie Harf declared "we cannot win this war by killing them [ISIS], we cannot kill our way out of this war" on Monday's broadcast of MSNBC's Hardball. "... we can work with countries around the world to help improve their governance, we can help them build their economies, so they can have job opportunities for these people.

Improve their governance? Build their economies? That's called nation building. How has that worked out for us in Iraq and Afghanistan? If improving governance and building economies is your thing how about starting here at home.

So they can have job opportunities? Such as those created by the Obama administration through our so called economic recovery?
High wage industries, like accounting and legal work, shed 3.6 million positions during the recession but added only 2.6 million positions.
Lower wage industries, like fast food workers and retail sales clerks, lost two million jobs, then added 3.8 million.
The number of people working part-time involuntarily is more than 50% higher than when the recession began.
The average household's take home pay has declined through the recession and the recovery to $51,017 in 2012 from $55,627 in 2007.
What do you want to do lady? Open up a string of fast food restaurants, strip malls and franchise motels to provide low wage and part time dead end jobs?

Not going to work. First, ISIS fighters don't quite fit the profile of a server at Applebee's. Complain about the service and off with your head. Second, they would have to take a cut in pay.

The nonsense that comes out of this administration is astounding.

I agree killing ISIS fighters alone will not defeat ISIS. The radical Islam ideology must also be defeated. However, until the Muslim world implements an effective strategy for doing this, the United States should fully support the efforts of Egypt, Jordan, Iraq and the Kurds to find 'em and kill 'em.

P.S. 2/17/2015 Marie Harf interview with Wolf Blitzer on CNN's The Situation Room:
"It might be too nuanced an argument for some, ..." - So typical of the elitist arrogance of this administration.
