Commentary: Obama (D-President Of The United States) breaks promise on posting legislation

Party affiliation makes no difference. All politicians seem to subscribe to the Mark Twain school of thought concerning promises; "Better a broken promise than none at all".

One of the criteria for the last man/woman standing on my 2016 list of presidential contenders will be the candidate that makes no or at least the fewest promises.

Tell me the issue.
Tell me your plan to address the issue.
Tell me why you believe your plan will resolve the issue.

Just don't promise me anything. The minute you do I put "Lucy" across from your name on my list.

I hate that I've become so cynical. But in the words of Bernard M. Baruch: "Vote for the man who promises least; he'll be the least disappointing".
