Let's get real about ISIS. It's "when" not "if" it brings terrorists acts to the U.S. Even if not sanctioned by ISIS such attacks will be ISIS inspired. (I really, really, hope I'm wrong)

ISIS has sewn the seeds of its demise through its brutality. It will ultimately be defeated. If not by a coalition of Western and Arab states, then by Muslims who reject the ISIS brand of Islam. As it begins to weaken it will play what it views as its trump card. Terrorists attacks on U.S. soil. Forget the thing about ISIS fighters with Western passports. Our unsecured borders and in country fanatics will allow for and supply ample human resources. Its objective, as has been noted in several recent articles, will be to provoke a U.S. response that will anger Muslims and save ISIS from the threat of the billions of other Muslims who want nothing to do with the group.

Until we are hit we work with those with whom we have a common objective. The destruction of ISIS. When we are hit we give ISIS what it wants. With extreme prejudice we take whatever unilateral action required to eradicate the threat.
