This article illustrates a major problem with our politicians. It's more about votes and politics than what is right and consistant with the Constitution. The question should be; is the child a US citizen with a valid social security number. If so, the child tax credit should apply. Have a problem with this? Then repeal section one of the 14th amendment that grants automatic citizenship to children of illegal immigrants. Ain't rocket science. If there is a problem determine the source of the problem and fix it.
