Accept the fact the Qurans should not have been burned. This not a statement of appeasement. It is a show of respect for what others hold sacred. We have not only apologized, we've groveled. That should be sufficient.

Obviously it is not:

"We don't care about Obama's apology."
"Karzai's Response to Obama's Apology: Put U.S. Troops on Trial and Punish Them"
"Kill them, beat them, take them as prisoners and teach them such a lesson ..."

So be it. Demonstrate, riot, bomb, burn your cities, kill your own people and accept the shame you bring upon Islam and the Afghan people. And if you come at us, after we have admitted our error and apologized to the point of humiliation, be assured we will facilitate your entrance into your paradise.

Lavoy (acting assistant secretary of defense for Asia and Pacific security affairs) apologized multiple times during a brief speech during prayer services at the ADAMS Center in Sterling, one of the largest mosques in the country. "It was very satisfying, very heartwarming to hear an apology three times in one speech," Magid (executive director of the ADAMS Center mosque and president of the Islamic Society of North America) said after the services.
