Justice Department Sues over Arizona Immigration Law

"The federal government filed a lawsuit Tuesday aimed at blocking a controversial Arizona law that requires local police and sheriffs to question and arrest anyone whom they suspect is in the country illegally."

Actual wording of the bill:

For any lawful contact made by a law enforcement official or a law enforcement agency of a county, city or town or other poltical subdivision of this state where reasonable suspicion exists the person is an alien who is unlawfully present in the United States, a reasonable attempt shall be made, when practicable, to determine the immigration status of the person.

Now I don't know about you folks but "requires local police and sheriffs to question and arrest anyone whom they suspect is in the country illegally" is not the same as "FOR ANY LAWFUL CONTACT MADE BY A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIAL .... WHERE REASONABLE SUSPICION EXISTS ..."

This is the American progressive mentality. To forward their political agenda, they want it to say, therefore it says.

I make the statement "I love my family".

The progressive headline would read: "Jack Hates Anyone Not Related To Him."

These people are pathetic.
