![]() 7/3/2016 foxnews.com: Muslim leaders asked to answer for actions of extremists That's like asking Christian leaders to answer for actions of Westboro Baptist Chruch. Kansas-based Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) is a small virulently homophobic, anti-Semitic hate group that regularly stages protests around the country, often several times a week. The group pickets institutions and individuals they think support homosexuality or otherwise subvert what they believe is God's law.
I know, WBC pickets while Muslim extremists kill. Nonetheless, both justify their actions based on 'what they believe is their God's law.' And I have a question for the panelist who attempted to defend Islam by stating; "I studied the Quran for 7 years and no where does it condone the killing of an innocent human being". Can a non-believer, an infidel, a kafir, be innocent? If so then your statement is simply not true. The Quran does condone the killing of a human being based soley on the fact one is a non-believer. Then when the Sacred Months have passed, then kill the Mushrikun* wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in each and every ambush. But if they repent and perform As-Salat, and give Zakat, then leave their way free. Verily, Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful. Quran Surah 9:5 Such statements only serve to fuel distrust of Muslims. (*) Mushrikun: idolaters, polytheists, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, pagans, etc. |
